The chlamydia test is one of the std tests that are usually done for the symptoms either directly in the genital organs or related to it. Chlamydia is a kind of the sexually transmitted disease caused by the chlamydia bacterium which damages the female reproductive organs and system. As the symptoms of the chlamydia are very mild and sometimes they are absent. Many serious complication are caused by this chlamydia bacterium which become untreatable and irreversible damages like the infertility which can occur silently in women before ever recognizes the problem or symptoms as they are really mild or completely absent. Thus std testing becomes very important for the person who is affected by the disease either of any of the types or symptoms, some specialists say that conducting all the std tests is good according to save oneself from irreversible damage done to oneself. Thus chlamydia test require the sample of urine like the gonorrhea test which also requires the sample of urine because the bacterium which causes the disease directly attacks the genitals instead of other parts.
